Budget fix plan chops $22M in school aid

AUGUSTA — The state won't be giving schools as much as promised over the next two years, cutting back $22 million in aid, if the governor's supplemental budget to make up for a shortfall in corporate income tax collections and an overrun in the Medicaid budget is approved by the Legislature.
